The 30th edition of the wine competition MUVINA, held in mid-June 2025 in Prešov, Slovakia, brought a historic success for Polish wineries. Polish winemaking achieved its best-ever result in the history of the MUVINA competition. Out of 19 Polish entries, as many as 9 wines received medals.
Winnica Talaska
alaska Vineyard is located in Melsztyn, Zakliczyn commune, Lesser Poland Voivodeship. It is situated on a south-facing slope above the Dunajec Valley, near the ruins of Melsztyn Castle. The vineyard cultivates 15 grape varieties. Year-round rental cottages are available on the vineyard premises. The vineyard offers wine tastings and on-site wine sales.
HISTORY OF Winnica Talaska
Talaska Vineyard was established by Tomasz and Natalia Talaska in Melsztyn. The inspiration for its creation was the owners' passion for wine and the desire to revive the region's winemaking traditions. In 2023, the vineyard achieved its first significant grape harvest. In 2024, it was included in the Małopolska Wine Route.
