Winnica Sienkiewicz
Sienkiewicz Vineyard is located in the village of Samoklęski, in the Kamionka commune, Lublin Voivodeship, within the buffer zone of the Kozłowiecki Landscape Park, approximately 5 km from the Zamoyski Museum in Kozłówka. The cultivation area covers 0.9 hectares, hosting nine grape varieties: Souvignier Gris, Seyval Blanc, Solaris, Muscat Odeski, Regent, Cabernet Dorsa, Cabernet Cortis, Frontenac, and Hibernal. The vineyard offers tours combined with tastings for groups of six or more. Wine production emphasizes quality with minimal use of chemicals, and most work is performed manually with the help of family and friends.
HISTORY OF Winnica Sienkiewicz
The vineyard was established in 2016 by Mariusz Sienkiewicz. The inspiration came from family travels to wine countries such as Australia, France, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Georgia, Germany, Serbia, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Romania. In 2016, the owner completed a one-year Practical Winemaking Course in Jasło, organized by the Subcarpathian Wine Academy. The vineyard holds the "Marka Lubelskie" certificate and is a member of the Lublin Business Club and the Lublin Regional Tourist Organization.
