Winnica Patria

Winnica Patria is a family-owned vineyard located in Imielin, Upper Silesia, near the Dziećkowice drinking water reservoir. It encompasses two plots: one in Imielin on a southern slope, and another in Mysłowice, near the Przemsza River. The proximity to water creates a mild microclimate that benefits the health of the vines and the quality of the wine. The soil is clay-sandy, rich in minerals such as dolomites and limestones, imparting a characteristic minerality to the wines. The vineyard cultivates grape varieties suited to Polish climatic conditions, including: Johanniter, Solaris, Sauvignier Gris and Seyval Blanc from (white varieties) and Regent, Zweigelt, Cabernet Cortis? (red varieties). The wines are produced using traditional methods, without chemical flavor enhancers, resulting in a unique bouquet and taste that reflect the terroir and climate of the region. The vineyard also offers tastings and tours for those interested in enotourism.

HISTORY OF Winnica Patria

Winnica Patria was established in 2007 as one of the first vineyards in Upper Silesia. Initially, it encompassed two plots: in Imielin and Mysłowice. Over the years, the vineyard has developed, currently cultivating approximately 3,000 vines over an area exceeding 1 hectare. Wines from Winnica Patria have won awards at numerous wine competitions, attesting to their high quality. The vineyard's cellars house a professional tasting room, decorated in a Tuscan style, where tastings and social or business meetings are held.
