Winnica Szubert
(Previous name: Winnica Darłowo)
Szubert Vineyard is the northernmost vineyard in Poland, located in Darłowo, surrounded by forests and fields, just 4 km from the Baltic Sea. It currently covers an area of 2 hectares, cultivating grape varieties such as Solaris, Muscaris (white), and Cabernet Cortis (red and rosé). In total, the vineyard hosts approximately 7,000 grapevines.
The wines produced at Szubert Vineyard are dry, with noticeable citrus notes, perfect for refreshing summer days. On the vineyard's premises, there is a professional winery where the production and bottling of wine take place.
HISTORY OF Winnica Szubert
Szubert Vineyard was established several years ago by Mariusz and Barbara Szubert, initially covering an area of 0.25 hectares with 800 grapevines. Over the years, the vineyard expanded to its current 2 hectares, and the number of vines increased to 7,000.
The owners invested in the construction of a modern winery, allowing for increased wine production. Collaboration with the authorities of Darłowo resulted in the city's coat of arms being featured on the wine labels, emphasizing the local character of the products.
Szubert Vineyard is part of the Leśny Dworek resort, offering guests the opportunity to tour the vineyard, participate in wine tastings, and stay in comfortable accommodations. The proximity to the sea and the surrounding nature make this place an attractive destination for enotourism in Western Pomerania.
