Tecławska Góra Vineyard is a craft, family-run winery located in northern Greater Poland, at the foot of Tecław Hill in the Szczecinek Lakeland. The cultivation area covers over 1 hectare, hosting grape varieties such as Leon Millot, Rondo, Regent, Cabernet Cortis, Solaris, Seyval Blanc, Muscaris, Johanniter, Hibernal, and Riesling. The vineyard specializes in producing white and red wines, offering dry and semi-dry options. Since 2021, the sale of sparkling wines has been planned. Wines can be tasted and purchased on-site by prior arrangement.
HISTORY OF Winnica Tecławska Góra
The vineyard was established in 2012 by Tomasz Głowacki, an enthusiast of wines and a promoter of Polish winemaking. The name of the vineyard refers to a local 16th-century legend about the knight-bandit Tecław, who once inhabited the surrounding areas; the sword motif in the vineyard's logo also alludes to this story. From the very beginning, the goal was to create high-quality wines that emphasize the regional character. The sales debut in 2020 garnered significant interest among wine enthusiasts, sommeliers, and bloggers.
