Winnica Jakubowa
Jakubowa Vineyard is located in Karwodrza, Tuchów commune, Lesser Poland Voivodeship. It is situated on a southern slope at over 300 meters above sea level, in the Ciężkowice-Rożnów Foothills region. The vineyard covers an area of 0.5 hectares. Grape varieties cultivated include Léon Millot, Maréchal Foch, Regent, Rondo, Bianca, Hibernal, Seyval Blanc, and Solaris. The cultivation is conducted organically, without the use of artificial fertilizers. On the vineyard grounds, there is a gazebo with a grill, smokehouse, and pizza oven. The vineyard offers the possibility to rent a year-round house with four rooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms, and a terrace. Wine tastings and local products such as cheeses and cold cuts are organized.
HISTORY OF Winnica Jakubowa
Jakubowa Vineyard was established in 2018 by Sylwia and Paweł Jaśkiewicz. In 2023, the vineyard was included in the Lesser Poland Wine Route. In the 19th century, in this area, Karol Jan Berké, from a Hungarian family, established one of the first vineyards in this part of the Tarnów region. Jakubowa Vineyard continues the winemaking traditions of this region.
