Wino na medal

“Wino na Medal” Competition is organized by the Polish Sommelier Association. Its aim is the professional evaluation and promotion of wines available on the Polish market. Participants may include businesses involved in the import, distribution, and/or production of wines, holding valid sales permits.

Wines are judged anonymously through blind tastings conducted by the Competition Committee, composed of members of the Polish Sommelier Association and invited experts. The 100-point scoring system is applied. Categories include still wines (white, rosé, red), sparkling wines, fortified wines, and wines with reduced or zero alcohol content.

Awards include Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals (respectively from 93, 89, and 85 points upward), as well as a special Grand Prix for the best wine in each category that achieves at least a Gold Medal. Winners receive certificates and the right to use the “Wino na Medal” logo in promotional materials. Results are published on the organizer’s website and communicated individually to participants.
