Polskie Korki vol.12: The Festival of Polish Wines

The best Polish wines respecting nature!

On 7 June 2025, the best winemakers from all over Poland will come to SPOT. for the twelfth time. We are convinced that after several years of intensive development, the time has come not only to promote Polish winemaking, but also the desirable attitudes within it. That is why, starting this year, we will be inviting to the festival winemakers who work with care for soil quality, plant biodiversity and animal welfare, as well as low-intervention vinification, in harmony with the local environment and in a socially responsible manner.

We therefore want to popularise organic and biodynamic grape growing, which is free of chemical fertilisers and plant protection chemicals. We want to urge winemakers to express the local terroir in the best possible way, not only through spontaneous fermentation, but also by understanding the historical and cultural context of their region. We want to advocate transparency to Polish wine lovers, who should always know what is in the bottles of wine they buy.

We are of course aware not only of the Polish historical conditions, but also of the climate. We know that for many young vineyard projects, the loss of one vintage can mean the end of the project, which is why we are more interested in discussing how to work in harmony with nature and indulge in ‘controlled idleness’ during vinification than in separating the grains from the chaff.

During the festival, there will be plenty of interesting lectures, exciting tastings and fantastic wines. In addition to the well-known winemakers – as always – there will also be promising debutants. A dozen or so wineries will present over a hundred wines. It will be possible to get to know them better, to taste them and – most importantly – to buy them at producer prices.
